We’ve seen it in soooo many Youtube-videos recently – this dark berry/plum/bordeaux shade everyone is loving to wear, when Christmas is upcoming. I got my hands on a very special one:
The Butter London “Tinted Balm” in “Black Cherry”.
It’s the most beautiful and flattering color for pale skin like mine, though I can also imagine it on a really dark brunette with a light tan.
Recently I get more and more in the mood for a peachy look – especially on my cheeks. I think that really matches my pale skin and makes me look more healthy and glowy.
So, here’s my go-to peachy blush: CATRICE Defining Blush in #090 “Mandy-rine”
Sometimes it’s just luck.
I was buying a lot of makeup for a “Sugar Skull”- Look I did for a friend on Halloween.
To draw those little petals around the eyes I bought a really affordable lipliner by essence in the color “Silk Mauve”.
We didn’t get to use this one in the end, but the next day I was in the mood for a mauve matte lip so I just threw it on – AND LOVED IT 🙂
So, I had to go and buy more colors:
Yes, I placed another KIKO-order – I’m just so in love with that brand (especially since I found out they don’t do any animal-testing!) 🙂 You can find my other reviews here!
This time I got some sale-items and one item from the new luxury-line. I’ve been testing these for more than a week now to be able to give you my honest opinion on it.
BTW: KIKO got a massive -20% Halloween-sale at the moment – so don’t forget to grab some goodies! 🙂
FACE SKIN GLOW DAYCREAM: This cream was part of the “Boulevard Rock”-Limited Edition – so it’s on sale for a few euros now!
WHO would have guessed it… right after the launch I had to order something from the Zoella beauty line.
I just got myself 2 things: the “Guineapig” beauty bag and the “Creamy Madly Dreamy” body lotion. Both represent the sweet and funny personality of Zoe perfectly and are sold at a reasonable price!
Order: I ordered at feelunique.com – really easy, nice homepage, really fast delivery. Everything perfect!
Body Lotion: I absolutely LOVE this one! I always have it right beside my bed to grab it every evening and enjoy the perfect scent and the creamy feeling!
Think of a creamy texture, just like a balm.
Think of the biggest color selection you can imagine.
Think of a low price.
Think of NYX Butterglosses.
“Buttery soft and silky smooth, our scrumptious new Butter Lip Gloss tastes as sweet as a sugar cookie—and makes your lips look downright luscious. Swipe it on alone or over your favorite lipstick for creamy sheer to medium coverage that melts onto your lips and is never sticky.” (www.nyxcosmetics.com)
Since I am not really the skincare-girl, who has 5 different scrubs and masks in her bathroom, I decided to try something natural, but yet easy to do at home. This scrub is made from things you normally have at home, so you don’t even have to go out & it’s finished within 5 minutes!
If you’re dealing with dry skin and dry lips (like I do) I recommend to do this not TOO often, but like 2 to 3 times a week (depending on your skin, on the lips you can do it more frequently). But even if you like to use it more often, it won’t dry out your skin because of the nourishing coconut oil.
So, let’s get right into it:
What you need:
So, here’s my first review of my little NYX-haul!
Since many of you gave the haul-post a like – thanks btw ❤ – I hope you enjoy that one!
I was searching for a really good, natural blush that fits my light complexion, so I was quite excited as I stumbled across this one on the NYX site.
“Our pressed powder blush delivers sheer, silky color that glides on easily, blends beautifully and creates a natural glow. The formula is richly-pigmented and lasts for hours. Available in 24 radiant colors!” (www.nyxcosmetics.com)
as I already mentioned in my post about the ZOEVA brushes, I did a little NYX haul I really want to show you, since I’ve seen so many Youtubers and Bloggers raving about this brand.
So, here we go:
What I got:
1. Butter Gloss in “Marple Blondie”
2. Single Eyeshadow in “Sahara”
3. Blush in “Mauve”
4. Lipliner Pencil in “Nectar”
– Reviews and more photos coming soon!
Since I had heard so many good things about the brushes by ZOEVA, I decided to stock up on two I’ve been missing in my makeup routine.
One is the #102 “Silk finish”-brush and the other one is the #221 “Luxe Soft Crease”-brush.
They both came in a small zipper-bag and had a plastic-coat on the tip to secure it (which I found really good).
